Reilly K. Ward, Attorney at Law

I have practiced immigration law since 2014. My practice focuses on helping employers secure temporary or permanent work visas for non-US workers, and helping foreign-born individuals attain more secure status in the US through family-based immigration channels.

My practice focuses on in helping employers secure seasonal workers (for a period of months) and temporary workers (for a period of a few years), as well as attaining permanent (“green card”) work authorization for qualified employees. To this end, I work with hospitality and resort organizations, engineering and manufacturing firms, banks and financial services firms, sporting and athletic organizations, software and technology firms, hospitals and healthcare services organizations, international investors, farmers and ranchers, as well as individuals of extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, and athletics. Examples of positions that I have helped employers fill with foreign-born workers range from seasonal agricultural workers, to hotel housekeepers and lift attendants, to world-renowned rodeo cowboys and ski competitors, to equine specialists and veterinarians, big data scientists, software developers, nurses, accountants, and engineers in a variety of disciplines. I have also had the opportunity to assist employers of non- US workers in navigating the immigration compliance issues associated with corporate restructuring, such as spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions.

On the individual side, I value the opportunity to use my immigration law expertise to assist foreign-born individuals living in the US in navigating the ever-changing immigration landscape. I work with individuals wishing to join and/or to stay with their family members in the United States, assisting with family-based green card applications, naturalization cases, and DACA renewals.

In addition to immigration, I have experience practicing in the areas of: Financial Services, Estate and Trust Litigation; Banking, Financial and Fiduciary Advisory Services; Commercial, Environmental and Mass Action Litigation; Entity Formation and Corporate Governance; Technology and “Startup” Law; and Real Estate Law.

Outside of the office, I do my best to explore as much of this beautiful area as possible — hiking, mountain biking, rafting, fly fishing and skiing, while always looking for creative new ways to get outside and enjoy this beautiful landscape.

GET TO KNOW OUR VIRTUAL OFFICE MODEL

WIVL operates on “virtual law office” model. By operating in this manner, we are choosing to place convenience, client service, and value as our top priorities. That said, we love meeting our clients in person, and are happy to arrange in person meetings with our local clients on a case-by-case basis.

There are several benefits to operating under this “virtual law office” model. Because immigration is a federal practice, we are able to represent clients in all 50 states. Our “virtual law office” model also allows us to eliminate the overhead costs associated with maintaining costly office space, and helps us provide our legal expertise at more attainable rates.

If you can get a doctor to write a prescription after an online consultation, why shouldn’t high-quality legal services be just as easy to obtain?
